Indie Books, Preorder

Chained in Desire

I’m excited to announce the preorder for Chained in Desire, the fourth book in the Enforcers and Coterie series. Until the release date, the preorder price is set at $0.99 and then will go to the regular price of $2.99, so get it now while it’s cheap. 😉

This book has one of my favourite characters, Victor, a mage who’s irresistible to women. I fell in love with him in Magic Resistant and couldn’t get him out of my head.  Isabella appeared in Sylvia’s Torment although she was never named, and I knew she had a large role to play.

Chained in Desire FB Size

Fourth in the Enforcers and Coterie series, each one is a standalone book delving deeper into a world where magic co-exists peacefully with the ordinary, for the most part…

As a Mage Demon Enforcer, Victor Tremaine is one of the elite classes. Only a handful of mages have earned this distinction since demons are tricky buggers, especially those who have entered Earth illegally. Six months ago, he received an assignment — find and capture something that shouldn’t even exist: a human turned demon.

Imagine his surprise when she appears one day and attacks him.

Isabella Tuarez has been tuned into the emotions of others all her life. She’s only ever wanted to help, but that driving desire may prove to be her undoing. Escape from her captors should’ve been a happy time. Instead she found herself held by someone more ruthless. To survive, she must prove her usefulness.

She must kill an Enforcer.

Preorder today and enjoy the next installment to the Enforcers and Coterie series.

Reviews for Indie Romance Reads

As Rachel said, show some love for Kat. 🙂

KH ReviewsKaleidoscope Heart Book Reviews: Supporting indies, one review at a time.

My buddy and fellow romance fan Kat created and runs KH Reviews, a fantastic indie-centric review blog to which I occasionally contribute. Kat is an avid reader and all around cool chick and you can tell she really puts her heart into maintaining this awesome romance blog.

Reviews are so important for authors and even more so for the average indie author, making grassroots sites like KH a haven not only for writers, but also for readers looking for something fresh. Several new blog contributors recently joined us and it’s so great to see all the reviews posted throughout the week. Self publishing is more popular than ever, but having dedicated indie review sites like Kaleidoscope Heart Book Reviews makes it easy to find those gems to add to your To-Read Shelves.

Give Kat some love, eh? 😉

Cover Reveal for The Solomon Project

Join the cover reveal party on December 12.

Jessica Wren Fiction

Good morning, and I would like to extend an invitation to join me as I launch my second novel, a paranormal dystopian/historical fiction combo called “The Solomon Project.” I started this novel for NaNoWriMo after carrying around the idea for years. I don’t think I’ve ever had more fun writing a book.

The novel revolves around Eddie Ruiz, one of the so-called “solomons” who, under a cruel social experiment called The Solomon Project, is one of the approximately 15% of males spared mandatory sterilization at birth. He is also a medium who can summon the spirits of the dead. When the inevitable consequences of The Project start to surface–jealousy and resentment that divides families, the spread of a deadly disease, and the wicked one-world government’s horrific attempt to hide The Project, Eddie, along with his spiritual guardian Queen Bathsheba, uses his powers as a medium to summon The project’s namesake…

Not only is today Canada Day – Happy birthday Canada! – it’s also Indie Pride Day. I started the crazy trek as an indie author just over a year ago and since then I’ve met some pretty amazing people.

Jen Winter
Jen Winter – Author of the Guardian series and one of my co-conspirators for everything bad. 😉 PS, I still need to read about Yuruch. Finish his book! *rawr*
Heather R. Blair
Heather R. Blair – Author of the Celtic Elementals and Phoenix Inc. She keeps me sane and encourages me to keep writing. Now if only she’d finish writing Scott’s story! 😉
Rachel Chanticleer
Rachel Chanticleer – Author of The Hunter and The Witch. So can’t wait to see more from Rachel. I adored this short story. No pressure, but give me more, Rachel! 😉

Through Goodreads, I’ve met so many wonderful authors, those willing to share their knowledge and help support their fellow author. Jamie Jeffries, Abigail Sharpe, Samantha Christy, R.C. Matthews, Sawyer Belle, Sarah Curtis, Mary Crawford, and so many more. Like them on FB and see what they’re working on next.

And, of course, this wouldn’t be complete without mentioning my wonderful editor Elizabeth from Razor Sharp Editing and my cover artist Julie Nicholls. It’s hard to do everything on your own as an indie and thankfully, I don’t have to. I highly recommend working with both of them. They are both such sweethearts.

Veronica Del Rosa – Author of Enforcers and Coterie series. *cough* Yes, it’s me. But look at those pretty covers!
